The Challenge

  • Needed a user-friendly and tamper-proof system suitable for all age groups, including staff.
  • Prior setup was high-maintenance, overly complex, and non-functional, especially AV systems.
  • Required zero downtime during installation while the family continued residing.
  • Previous bad experience with an automation vendor had caused trust issues.
  • The wardrobe system needed backup access in case of power failure.
  • Required restricted wardrobe access for staff, ensuring security of valuables.
  • Needed to protect artwork and light-sensitive items.
  • Parents required discreet night-time automation without disturbing sleep.

Our Solution

  • Implemented a hybrid system: physical keypads for staff and app-based control restricted to family.
  • Installed sunlight-tracking curtains and lighting to protect art and automate ambience.
  • Integrated sensor-based night lighting in parents’ areas for a disturbance-free experience.
  • Designed a “His & Her” wardrobe access system with backup and secure servant-level access.
  • Set up multi-room audio, AC, AV, mood lighting, and full-home automation across both bungalows.
  • Offered a trial in two rooms to rebuild trust; scaled up post-satisfaction.
  • Replaced over-specced devices and streamlined the AV setup in the North East unit.
  • Installed Ekey wardrobe systems across all floors and upgraded projector & mirror systems.
